Het Centrum voor Beeldexpressie wil met de editie 2008 van PHOTO VIEW opnieuw de eigenzinnige fotografie vieren. Veel fotografen houden van experimenteren, zoeken nieuwe uitingsvormen en ontwikkelen een eigen visie. Belangrijk is dat die vernieuwing ook het brede publiek bereikt. Met de expositie van de meest creatieve en authentieke werken zet Photo View fotografen in het voetlichtdie het verschil maken.
Uit de 58 inzendingen koos de jury 13, stuk voor stuk, 'kunstzinnige' fotoreeksen. Het selectieteam bestond voor deze editie uit Tamara Berghmans, doctoranda Kunstgeschiedenis, Anja Hellebaut, beroepsfotografe en Marnix Vermeulen, beroepsfotograaf.
De exposanten: Patrick Bardyn, Luc Cromphout, Abdul-Vahit Duman, Johan Eeckhout, Horst Einfinger, Dirk Janssens, Gilbert Janssens, Emiel Pauwels, Luc Rabaey, Jaak Sleypen, Pascale Vandewalle, Pierre Volpe, Dan Zollmann.
