Luc, A worthy source of inspiration. I wasn't really aware of how deeply I had drunk from the well of Hopper's work in my own photography until I walked through a Hopper retrospective at the National Gallery in Washington, D.C. a few years ago. There was a show (and a accompanying book) tracing Hopper's influence on American photography in San Francisco earlier this year. You can read a piece in the NYTimes about the show here:
In this particular shot: I like the way the turned wrists of both the man on the sidewalk and the bus driver echo one another, while at the same time they also resemble the shape of the rearview mirrors on the front of the bus.
