Santander, Spain 2009.The Barrio Pesquero in Santander July 16th. In the fishing port district the local people celebrate their patron saint Virgen del Carmen. They ask her for a good fishing year and for the safety of the fishermen. The celebration is a mix of religious tradition and a popular fiesta.
